This charming mid-century rectangular baking dish was crafted by John B. Taylor Ceramics of Louisville, Kentucky (active 1938–early 1970s). Known for their hand-painted stoneware and whimsical floral motifs, John B. Taylor pieces are highly collectible and bring a warm, cottage-inspired aesthetic to the table.
This piece, dating to circa 1955–1965, features a green vine with a pink heart-shaped bloom at the center, framed by a rich green hand-painted border. With its compact size and side handles, it’s perfect for serving small casseroles, baked sides, or as a decorative accent in a vintage-inspired kitchen.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs noted. Hand-painting remains vibrant. Please see photos for details.
