ANTIQUE VANITY TABLE MIRROR WITH DOG HEAD HANDLES & PUTTO CHERUB – ORNATE CAST IRON – 14 ¾ INCH – CIRCA EARLY 1900s
Meet a glamorous survivor of the early 1900s — this antique vanity mirror is every bit as fabulous now as she was over 100 years ago. Crafted from cast iron in a soft, time-worn ivory finish, she features a tilting oval mirror framed with scrollwork and crowned by a reclining putto (cherub) nestled among roses and fruit.
On each side, whimsical dog-head finials guard the glass, lending a curious and playful character to her ornate design. The scrolled base is decorated with bold shell and cartouche motifs, anchoring the mirror in true Art Nouveau / Rococo revival style.
