Bring a touch of romantic early 20th-century charm to your vanity or display cabinet with this antique German Elfinware porcelain powder box. Crafted between the 1920s and 1930s, this beautifully detailed piece features the signature Elfinware applied forget-me-nots, roses, and blossoms in soft shades of blue, lavender, pink, and yellow. Each tiny flower was individually hand-formed and applied, giving the lid its distinctive sculptural texture and layered floral design.
The interior is fully glazed, consistent with its original use as a powder box for loose face powder and vanity items. A wonderfully decorative piece for collectors of German porcelain, vanity accessories, and applied floral ware.
CONDITION
Good antique condition with expected wear for its age. The central raised yellow flower on the lid has two missing outer petals. This type of loss is very common for antique Elfinware, as the highest flower often takes the most contact over time. All other applied flowers remain intact and beautifully preserved, with excellent color and detail. No cracks or structural damage to the box itself.
