This exquisite hand-painted porcelain bowl is crafted on the coveted Monbijou blank by Rosenthal of Bavaria, Germany — known for its ruffled Rococo-style edges and graceful flowing form. Decorated with soft pink blossoms and pale green foliage, this piece exemplifies the romantic charm of turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau porcelain.

 

Signed Mary Thompson on the base, this piece was likely hand-painted in the United States around 1900 using a fine imported Rosenthal blank.
