A truly charming and timeless piece of English craftsmanship. This delicate Royal Doulton floral posy was hand-modeled and hand-painted in England between 1948 and 1955, during the earliest years of Doulton’s post-war bone china revival. The bouquet features a gorgeous mix of roses, carnations, and anemones in rich, glossy hues of burgundy, yellow, white, and sky blue—each petal individually shaped and painted by hand.
The figurine is in good antique condition, with only one small, relatively unnoticeable chip that doesn’t detract from its overall beauty or display value. The underside bears the green Royal Doulton England bone china backstamp with the lion-and-crown mark and decorator’s petal detail.
