FEDERAL GLASS GAZELLE HIGHBALL SET WITH CADDY, CIRCA 1951–1960
A spectacular example of colorful mid-century entertaining, this Federal Glass Company Gazelle set pairs eight decorated highball glasses with a wonderfully graphic vintage wire carrying caddy.
Federal produced its Gazelle pattern circa 1951–1960, decorating clear glass with elegant gazelles surrounded by dense, sweeping foliage. Here, the pattern appears in an especially appealing assortment of coral pink, seafoam green, and white.
The glasses nest neatly into a coral-pink wire carrier finished with contrasting black-and-white wrapped handles. The complete ensemble has an unmistakably glamorous 1950s personality—equal parts Palm Beach cocktail hour, Hollywood Regency bar cart, and mid-century tropical fantasy.
Each glass stands approximately 5.25 inches tall and bears Federal Glass's molded shield trademark at the base.
Whether actually used for cocktails or simply displayed as part of a collected bar, this set has extraordinary decorative presence.
