Experience history with this beautiful FRAMED BRASS RUBBING OF LADY MARGARET CHEYNE from Hever, Kent, England. Lady Margaret was the wife of a large landowner, and she died in 1419.  This beautiful recreation was created in England in 1978.  The original rubbing was created with a sheet of paper and graphite, wax, or chalk rubbed over a stunning 1400s "latten" brass in the church in Kent to reveal the design of her memorial. The piece would look fabulous in a study or den for an elegant and exclusive touch.

The rubbing itself is in excellent condition.  The frame is, however, not, and has not been included in the price.  Eclectic Whimsy left the frame intact because of the original description tag on the back of the frame.
