This hand-painted Italian majolica plate is bursting with color and craftsmanship. Made in Florence, Italy, and attributed to Zaccagnini Ceramiche, it features a beautifully reticulated (pierced) rim with a green scalloped edge framing a vibrant floral bouquet of blue iris, pink, yellow, and orange blossoms with lush green foliage.
The plate is signed on the underside with the stylized “Z” over “ITALY” mark and the production number 36/110, confirming its Italian origin. A lovely example of mid-century Italian artistry, perfect for hanging on a gallery wall, displaying on a plate rack, or gifting to the collector of European ceramics.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with bright, intact glaze and no chips or cracks noted. Minor wear consistent with age.
