ANTIQUE VILLEROY & BOCH MAJOLICA CAMEO PLATE – BRONZE GREEN WITH TURQUOISE MEDALLION, 19TH CENTURY SCHRAMBERG

This exquisite antique majolica plate was crafted by Villeroy & Boch at the Schramberg factory in Germany during the late 19th century.

The richly glazed bronze-green ground is adorned with intricate raised floral and scrollwork motifs, centering a turquoise relief medallion of a classical portrait. The high-contrast glazes and bold detail make this an exceptional display piece.

The underside is impressed with mold number 682 / 2, part of the celebrated cameo series produced by Villeroy & Boch.

The plate is in good antique condition, with wear consistent with it being 150 years old. This authentic patina enhances its antique character, making it a distinctive addition to any collection of European ceramics or Victorian majolica.
