PAIR OF FRAMED ANTIQUE KOI FISH CHINESE SILK PANELS

These beautiful antique Chinese silk embroidered panels are images of colorful flowers and whimsical koi fish on a black background. The panel is mounted for display on multiple fabric backgrounds and framed. The pond scenes are framed by both flower and butterfly borders.  The layering effect of textiles is unique and makes these true works of art.  The embroidery thread colors on the silk include pink, purple, and multiple shades of green. 

The frames are in excellent vintage condition.  The framed antique silks are in good antique condition – one koi fish shows age from before it was framed.  (The stands used in the photographs are not included)
