A striking pair of mid-century enamel on copper art plates by Leon Statham (Wisconsin, 1913–1986). Each plate is richly enameled in deep emerald green with Statham’s signature abstract, controlled-swirl decoration—one with a vertical flow of luminous aqua and white, the other with a spiraling constellation of floating droplets. These jewel-toned works showcase the best of mid-century studio enameling and make an eye-catching display as a pair.
