Pair of Signed Iridescent Art Glass Trumpet Vases, Peacock Blue Green, Art Nouveau Style, Ribbed Studio Glass
The Story:
A study in color, light, and sculptural elegance, this exquisite pair of signed iridescent art glass trumpet vases captures the romance of Art Nouveau design.
Rich peacock turquoise rises in beautifully ribbed, flaring trumpet forms, transitioning into delicate golden-green stems and luminous iridescent bases. Every curve catches the light differently, revealing shifting tones of sapphire, emerald, and antique gold.
Both vases bear etched signatures, adding an intriguing element of mystery to their artistic origins. Their graceful silhouettes and striking symmetry make them equally captivating displayed together or individually.
The Object:
Each vase features an elongated, vertically ribbed trumpet bowl in vibrant blue-green glass, accented by a richly detailed dark glass collar. Slender golden-green stems descend into circular iridescent feet, creating an elegant balance of color, texture, and proportion.
The intricate ribbing and luminous finish give these pieces a remarkable visual presence, whether illuminated by natural daylight or the warm glow of an evening interior.
The signatures remain unidentified, and no specific artist or studio attribution is claimed.
