This authentic vintage Italian ceramic bowl was crafted by Ceramica Nova Deruta, a respected pottery workshop in Deruta, Italy—an area renowned for its centuries-old majolica tradition. The underside is clearly marked “Ceramica Nova Deruta – Made in Italy,” confirming origin and authenticity.

The bowl features a richly detailed hand-painted central medallion surrounded by scrolling foliate motifs in deep cobalt blue, teal, aqua, and golden yellow. Coordinating ornamental panels decorate each side, framed by a warm yellow glazed rim. The square form with chamfered corners gives this piece strong architectural presence, making it especially striking as a decorative display bowl.
