VINTAGE LOMONOSOV LFZ BLUE BIRD OF PARADISE COBALT AND GOLD PORCELAIN TEA SERVICE FOR SIX

A breathtaking vintage Lomonosov porcelain tea service in the celebrated Blue Bird pattern, also commonly called Blue Bird of Paradise. Made by the Leningrad Lomonosov Porcelain Factory during the Soviet era, this lavish service pairs stylized cobalt-blue birds with sweeping hand-applied gold foliage on luminous white porcelain.

Every component is richly decorated, from the dramatic round teapot and double-handled sugar bowl to the scalloped serving bowl and six complete place settings. The fanciful birds appear surrounded by brilliant gilt leaves, feathers and flourishes, giving the service the theatrical beauty of a Russian folk tale.

The collection includes six large teacups with matching saucers and dessert plates, creating a complete presentation for six. An additional petite cup and saucer adds an especially charming and uncommon element.

The reverse bears the red LFZ / ЛФЗ Made in USSR factory mark associated with Soviet-period production by the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory, now known as the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory.
