Vintage Pink Lotus Flower Boudoir Lamps Pair | Mid-Century Lucite Style Floral Accent Lights

A luminous little pair of vintage floral magic.

This matching pair of vintage lotus flower boudoir lamps features dramatic layers of thick, translucent petals graduating from soft frosted white to vivid pink, surrounded by sculptural green leaves and elevated on petite gold-tone pedestal bases. When illuminated, the flowers seem to glow from within, transforming the pink petals into brilliant jewel-toned blooms.

The substantial translucent petals have an almost glass-like appearance and feel, creating considerably more depth and dimension than lightweight molded floral shades. Their layered construction gives each lotus a wonderfully sculptural quality whether illuminated or displayed unlit.

Petite at just 4.5 inches tall, these were designed as atmospheric accent lighting rather than traditional table lamps. Their diminutive scale makes them particularly charming on a vanity, bedside table, cocktail cabinet, bookshelf or tucked into a collected maximalist vignette.

The lamps retain coordinating vintage red electrical cords with Leviton inline switches and red plugs. The switches are marked Leviton and Mexico; this marking refers to the electrical component and should not be interpreted as the country of manufacture for the lamps themselves.

The pair is unmarked, and we have not identified a definitive manufacturer. Based upon the materials, construction, design and comparable period floral lighting, we believe these date to the mid-20th century, likely circa 1960s–1970s. Their sweeping lotus form also carries wonderful echoes of earlier Art Nouveau and Art Deco floral design.
